Certainly! “Escampi” seems to be a misspelling. I believe you meant “scampi.” Scampi typically refers to a dish of shrimp or lobster, especially when prepared in a garlicky butter and wine sauce. If you’d like to include steak with it, you’re in for a treat. Here’s a recipe for a Steak and Shrimp Scampi:

Steak and Shrimp Scampi

Ingredients:

For the Steak:

2 steaks (ribeye, sirloin, or your choice)

Salt and pepper to taste

2 tbsp olive oil

2 garlic cloves, minced

For the Shrimp Scampi:

500g large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 tbsp unsalted butter

5 garlic cloves, minced

1/2 cup white wine (or chicken broth)

Juice of 1 lemon

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

Pasta or rice for serving (optional)

Instructions:

1.Steak: a. Season both sides of the steak with salt, pepper, and minced garlic. b. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steaks. c. Cook the steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side (for medium-rare) or until desired doneness is achieved. Remove steaks from the skillet and set aside to rest.

2.Shrimp Scampi: a. In the same skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. b. Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for about 1 minute or until aromatic. c. Add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer, ensuring they are not overlapping. Cook until the shrimp turn pink on the bottom side, about 2 minutes. d. Flip the shrimp over and cook until they turn pink on both sides, about 1-2 minutes. e. Pour the white wine or chicken broth into the skillet. Allow it to simmer and reduce by half, about 2-3 minutes. f. Stir in the remaining butter, lemon juice, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste. If the sauce is too thick, you can add a little more wine or broth to reach the desired consistency. g. Once the sauce is done, you can either add the shrimp back to the skillet or pour the sauce over the shrimp.

3.To Serve: a. Slice the rested steak against the grain. b. Serve the steak slices and shrimp scampi over pasta or rice, if desired. c. Drizzle the sauce over the top and garnish with additional fresh parsley, if desired.

This Steak and Shrimp Scampi is a luxurious and flavorful dish, perfect for a special dinner! Enjoy!
