Ingredients:

2 pounds chicken tenders (or boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into strips)

1 pound bacon

1 cup brown sugar

1 teaspoon chili powder

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Toothpicks

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top. Spray the rack with cooking spray to prevent sticking.

In a shallow dish, mix together the brown sugar, chili powder, garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, and black pepper until well combined.

Take each chicken tender and wrap it with a slice of bacon. Secure the bacon in place with a toothpick.

Roll each bacon-wrapped chicken tender in the brown sugar mixture, coating all sides evenly.

Place the coated chicken tenders on the prepared wire rack, leaving some space between each piece.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the bacon is crispy, flipping halfway through cooking.

Once cooked, remove the chicken tenders from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.

Serve the bacon brown sugar chicken tenders warm as an appetizer or as a main dish with your favorite sides.

Enjoy your delicious Bacon Brown Sugar Chicken Tenders!
